Scandinavians fearing the tensions of the Bismarck's
Germany emigrated and settled into this area we lovingly
call Ballard. As their numbers rose, along with their affinity
for snoose, the Scandinavians' word for snuff and chewing
tobacco, the community earned the nick-name of "Snoose
Junction". The moniker was so well versed that it became the
code used by ships captains and train conductors nearing Seattle.
If they happened to have had any illicit cargo aboard, they would radio
ahead and have a short layover at "Snoose Junction" before reaching the
main port in Seattle. It just makes you wonder what's really going on here.

All Snoose Junction pizzas are crafted with our house shredded mozzarella cheese and homemade tomato sauce unless otherwise stated. We can prepare any pizza without cheese or replace the homemade tomato sauce with our garlic olive oil.
